  2. This ISO/MPEG Layer 3 software only encoder / decoder package is
  3.            COPYRIGHT BY Fraunhofer IIS 1994

  5. This package is distributed as shareware. You may work with the package for
  6. 30 days for evaluation purposes. If you want to use this package after the
  7. evaluation period, you are required to register the package. You may give
  8. copies of this package to other people as long as no file is changed
  9. and no file is omitted.

  11. The registration fee is 85 Deutsche Mark for one copy of the package
  12. (this is about 50 US$), plus value added tax (VAT), if applicable (see
  13. below). The preferred method of payment is via credit card. Currently,
  14. we can accept VISA, Master Card / Eurocard / Access credit cards. Please

  46. As a registered user, you will receive Version 1.0 of the Layer III
  47. shareware package as soon as it is available at no extra cost. You will
  48. also receive Infos on new developments. The registration is valid
  49. for all Layer III shareware packages of Version 0.99x and 1.xx.
